Vauxhall owner Stellantis announces plans to shut its Luton factory

More than 1,100 jobs at Vauxhall's van-making factory are at risk as its parent company Stellantis announces it will close its Luton plant in April 2025.

The company says it would offer "relocation support" and "an attractive package" to sacked employees who want to transfer to groups site in Ellesmere Port in the North West of England.
