ISLAY SOUR

This version of a Whiskey Sour is notably peaty and therefore smoky in flavor.
Okay, it’s actually a Boston Sour since it’s mixed with egg white. Lemongrass imparts a refreshing note to this smoky cocktail.

Recipe:
60ml-2oz SCOTCH WHISKY
30ml-1oz LEMON JUICE
15ml-1/2oz LEMONGRASS SYRUP
1 EGG WHITE

Shake dry all ingredients without ice . Add ice and shake again wet. Fine strain into chilled Nick and Nora glass.

Garnish with caramelized lemon wheel and cherry.
