Who said that pets can't help with your household chores? They are quite smart and also you can teach them to help you with all kinds of tasks around the house. Imagine you coming at home after a hard day's work and you see a clean house. Wouldn't it be nice to find the dishes washed and your bed made? What are the chores your pet can do for you? Today dogs are becoming more intelligent all the time. You might be surprised to know that your dog can take care of some simple household chores for you, that is if you train your dog properly.

Owning a dog is always fun, especially if it does our work. If your dog completes a task, don’t forget to treat it with a few dog treats as it makes the dog very happy and eager to do more tasks. Most of us have dogs that create messes (but we love them anyway). Some of us are ever-so-slightly more fortunate and have dogs that like to clean them up. Or, at least they like to try. Pretending to do the ironing counts for something, right?

Dogs have always been a man’s best friend, but who knew they could take over your chores for you too? Well, kind of. Check out this doggy help with the ironing process by catching any excess water. Adorable! Irons on steam are the best and this dog just knows how to make use of this iron. Sitting next to his owner, he is eagerly waiting for his owner to swipe the iron to the end of the board because it is then when the funny part starts. Steam irons do their job only if there is water inside. This dog just knows when is the right time to get active and bite the excess water out of the steam iron. When we first look at the video, we think that the dog is actually helping his owner with the clothes but he is only there to alleviate the monotonous routine of ironing clothes.

We know that dogs oftentimes bite the water coming out of a hose, a sprinkler, a running tap or the rain. Why is that so? Lots of dogs love water play. The expression “water dog” says it all. Any breed can be water lovers, from tiny toys to huge Mastiffs. As long as it’s wet, your dog is happy. Some dogs may be a bit more excitable around water than others. Not content with just splashing through it or swimming in it, they may bite, dive, and snap at any water that moves.
Some of us enjoy chores for the sense of control and calm that a clean home brings.

What do you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day! Enjoy!
