Seeing that the king wanted to see Avshalom in Geshur, Yo'av, the commander of David's army, sought to bring the son back to Jerusalem, by sending a woman to speak like a prophet. He succeeded, but David did not want to see his son. Soon, he forced Yo'av to meet his father David, and the king accepted him back. That was the beginning of Avshalom's way of causing trouble to his father. When we are under God's corrective discipline, the enemy will try to make us fail further and fall harder.
