I tested this about 10 times, out of those 10 times Spike spawned in the garden the most at about 4 times. Spike also spawned only upstairs in any of the bedrooms. Even though this is for an achievement guide, I think even people wanting to speedrun can benefit from this knowledge, but I do feel like it's mostly RNG.
