What If God Designed You?

People sometimes think of God as a big man in the sky who wants to boss them around, but what if God designed you, like an engineer designs a car, and it's not that he's punishing you for your sins, but you simply weren't designed to sin, much like a diesel engine wasn't designed to run on ethanol. Do we hurt ourselves by ignoring our intended purpose? Do we blame God for our troubles when we clearly brought them upon ourselves by violating his design? If God doesn't exist, why are people so sarcastic about, and angry with, the idea of God when forced to confront the reality of their own failed attempts to redefine their purpose? If God doesn't exist, why is it that we all need love and suffer when we hate each other? It seems to me that we were designed by God to love one another, and that sin is simply self destructive behavior that our bodies weren't designed to commit or endure. It's nothing to get angry about or resent, it's just a reality to accept and understand so we can live better more fulfilling lives.
