Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train Comes Through Allen Park, Michigan

The CPKC Holiday Train came through Allen Park, Michigan on Monday night, shortly after making its way into the United States from southern Ontario

The Holiday Train is now in its 26th year, after an inaugural journey in 1999. The train is touring Canada and the United States between November 21st and December 20th, with CPKC making donations to food banks at stops along the way and also encouraging attendees at its stops to make food bank donations. The stops also feature musical performances

While no formal stop with performances took place in Michigan this year, spectators did gather at multiple places in southeast Michigan, including a crowd out near Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park. The train passed through southeast Michigan cities such as Romulus, Milan, and Adrian en route towards Ohio, Indiana, and the next planned stop in Franklin Park, Illinois, which is set for Tuesday
