Marlington hosts Boardman to begin the 2024/25 Regular Season. The Dukes, led by now Mount Union forward Chelsea Evanich, went 11-14 in 2023/24. This included playoff wins over Holy Name and Girard 63-19 and 41-32 before losing to STVM 65-45. Boardman dominated in 2023/24, ending with a 19-6 record. Their season was ended by Rocky River 51-42 after playoff wins over Massillon Perry and Revere. Last season, it was the Spartans taking down the Dukes 54-22. This season, Marlington is out for redemption and a 1-0 start to the new season.
