“Karen” is a slang term typically used to refer to a woman who perceives herself as entitled or excessively demanding. Anyone who has had the extreme misfortune of looking at Whoopi Goldberg on ABC’s “The View” understands what a ‘Karen’ is. Whoopi leads this loosely organized gaggle of cackling Karens intent on insulting mainstream America while ‘Karening’ the show from beginning to end.

When you take a look or even a glance at Whoopi Goldberg, which is not an entirely pleasant experience, you’ve gotta wonder how she came to be such a ‘Karen’. Let’s take a look at her behaviour and name rather than her infamously hideous ‘Medusa’ face and coiffure.

It seems Whoopi was born to be a ‘Karen’, and that’s the God’s truth. Check online and you’ll find that she was born ‘Caryn’ Elaine Johnson. Yep, she was born a ‘Karen’.

Either her parents were psychic or there is some cruel karma going on. After all, one would be hard pressed to name anyone ‘Caryn’ than Whoopi Goldberg.
