Aggravated Assault Suspect Shot After Armed Standoff with Police

Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) executed a warrant on suspect Ivan Gutierrez for an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Assault - Family Member. Once they arrived, a perimeter was established around the residence and an entry team approached the front of the residence. The suspect discharged his weapon once, and then came out wielding a long gun and was subsequently shot. Suspect Gutierrez was pronounced deceased. No Officers were injured during the warrant execution.
