SPECIAL RIGHTS FOR INDIGENOUS PEOPLES CONTNUES IN NEW ZEALAND

NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT INDIGENOUS PARTNERSHIP CONTINUES IN 2024 AND BEYOND. PROMOTING SUPPORTING THE UN DECLARATION UNDRIP

George Manuel President of the Colombian National Brotherhood visited New Zealand in 1971 and met up with the Maori Council. It was suggested by George Manuel that they put their heads together to establish a World Council, this led to the UN World Indigenous Council where they introduced their own Charter. After 22 years of drafting the UN DRIP UN Declaration of Rights for Indigenous Peoples the UNDRIP was adopted at the UN Assembly in New York 13th September 2007. The Labour Led Government stated in the Assembly it was too difficult to adopt as it ignored lawful Property Rights that already exist in NZ. It is non compliant to NZs Constitutional Arrangement, non-compliant to the Treaty Of Waitangi. Gives so called Iwi/Maori who call themselves Indigenous ownership control of entire lands and Natural Resources of New Zealand. This being a two class citizenship. Gives Indigenous Peoples Veto Rights over Parliament. Gives Indigenous People rights that other New Zealanders do not have.

2010 John Key made a deal with Pita Sharples M P of the Maori Party where Pita Sharples under a veil of secrecy went to the UN and adopted the UNDRIP on behalf of the NZ Government and all that they are suppose to represent (The peoples of NZ)

This year 2024 Christopher Luxon once more officially committed New Zealand Government to supporting the UNDRIP

No wonder he announced he would not support David Seymours Waitangi Treaty's Bill going any further than he deems necessary. This really has opened up a can of worms.

Open public debate and discussion is well overdue. We need public discussions right across New Zealand a bout this very serious matter. This partnership approach with certain Iwi/Maori is costing NZ Taxpayers, Ratepayers a fortune and continues to do so. Its costing multiple millions of dollars out of the pockets of those with Maori and Non-Maori ancestry.

Successive Government and their Non-Transparency continues and the people of NZ are paying dearly for this
