Welp, I tried... went as well as I thought it would...

Which is not that good...

This is the hardest hidden boss and it is hidden for a reason.

The key here is the skills that you have equipped, because equipping the wrong resistances will result in the Demi Fiend party wiping you on the first move (because in this fight he ALWAYS move first).

Next is maxing out ALL of your stats to even barely survive since as you can see in this video, my party's HP is not even maxed out to even survive the bare minimum survival requirements. You can get the stat boosting items from the defeated random enemy drops... except that I can barely remember which items are dropped by who.

Item drops from defeated enemies are dependent on the Luck stat, so I suggest newbies that want to try collecting these VERY RARE stat increasing items to max out the luck stat as early as they can.

Of course, I'm going to do exactly that when I move on to the second "disc" of this game.

After that, you just need to rely on the ol' RNG to be in your favor...

To which of course, in my case, the RNG NEVER DOES.

Welcome back to the early 2000's era of gaming, where you just need to git gud. I'll back off for now, but I'll be back to try again once I have the stats that I need for the bare minimum survival requirements... I just don't know when...
