Does chemo really work? Chemo vs diet and lifestyle

Is there a better way to treat cancer? I myself have been through 3yrs of chemo, why? because it wasn't working, I went through RCHOP, Radiation, Rituximab 14, Clinical trial on Bendamustine, andit continued to grow, then had a Stem-cell transplant. It however damage my liver, kidney, heart, lymphatic system, and brain. my platelets, are still very low, and more.
BUT I believe even if you do use chemo, diet, and lifestyle changes will improve your chances incredibly.
