Reel 2 shows new homes under construction, building materials being processed, and views of a modern apartment house and a housing development. An animated cartoon shows Pvt. Snafu introducing Seaman Tarfu who scrubs a deck, pipes an admiral aboard, and keeps a lookout from the crow's nest.
