They are putting together a display of items collected over the past 150 years in Lake View, N.Y. They will be on display at the Lake View Fire Station this weekend as the hamlet celebrates their Sesquicentennial. Some of the oldest items found in this display are railroad records that date back to 1890. According to Julie Palmer who is on the event committee, many of the items showcased here came from personal collections. The big bash starts Friday Night at 5pm when the beer tent opens and continues on Saturday when it finishes up with a fireworks display. And speaking of beer-the Hamburg Brewing Company created a special lager just for Lake View's celebration. You can get all the information at their website.
