Reject: A Super Superhero Story (part 45)

*Holding his own against the Protector, the adjustments he made to his suit truly getting him so close to being victorious in this battle, Control is ready in case SuperDuperMan arrives to give any further assistance. But what Control could never have prepared for was for SuperDuperMan to arrive with someone, or something, in tow. SuperDuperMan does not give further assistance but instead he stands aside as someone he calls Mother Thrall flies forward to confront Control and prevent him from winning the day. Control watches as this being, this god of such power, easily scoops the Protector up to safety before she quickly returns to face off with Control as lightning bolts and fire rage off of her with the slightest flick of one of her fingers. No matter how his suit adjusts, Control quickly finds no advantage over this being that he does realize is probably just named Thrall yet also is some sort of Mother to SuperDuper. Control never prepared for magic, for strength beyond the reality he knew, and though his silver chains do seem to bother Thrall...not as much as they did SuperDuper, but they hurt her...it isn't enough. Control is losing, if he will die, or if will just be taken prisoner, something he knows he will have to face as he refuses to stop until he is beaten [AI Art]*
