A WAR - A POET - A NATION BORN!

A war, a poet, and a Nation born. 15 years after the Commonwealth of Australia was officially declared, young Australian men were defending the newly born nation, thousands of miles away on foreign battlefields, and the ANZAC legend was born.
World War I, was the forge that moulded Australia into a unified nation - the common enemy that tore down the state borders that had divided the country for the first one hundreds, and millions of young Australian men selflessly committed their lives to create the founding principles of freedom, democracy and mate-ship.
