MY SASSY COMMENT ABOUT TAX HAVENS TO EU HEADS OF GOVERNMENT AT THE EUROPEAN UNION SOCIAL SUMMIT 2017

It’s not every day that you have the opportunity to address almost 10 heads of state.

A few notes though:

1) They told us that we were not supposed to ask questions. So I wasn’t prepared and I had to improvise and wing it.

2) I had just 1 minute to make my statement. That’s why I kept looking to the right at the clock.

3) I was SUPER nervous. The French president Macron was like 3 meters from me and Orbán just in front of me. Can I blame my bad English on that? ;-)

4) A nod and wink from Macron when I finished my speech was priceless! :-)

Não é todos os dias que você tem a oportunidade de se expressar na frente de quase 10 chefes de estado.

porém, algumas notas:

1) Eles nos disseram que não deveríamos fazer perguntas. Então eu não estava preparado e tive que improvisar.

2) Tive apenas 1 minuto para fazer minha declaração. É por isso que eu ficava olhando à direita para o relógio.

3) Eu estava SUPER nervoso. O presidente Francês Macron estava a 3 metros de mim e Orbán bem na minha frente. Posso culpar o meu inglês ruim por isso? ;-)

4) Um aceno de cabeça e uma piscadinha de Macron quando eu terminei meu discurso não tem preço! :-)
