US Bombs Japanese from Base in the Aleutians 1943
Part 1, U.S. troops land on one of the Aleutian Islands and battle winds to put up tents. Airplanes take off from an island airfield. Shows Gen. Lloyd E. Jones. Part 2, the Dionne quintuplets are present as 5 cargo vessels are launched at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Part 3, tanks of the British 8th Army roll forward in Tunisia. Gen. Montgomery and Gen. Eisenhower meet. Allied planes patrol the Mediterranean. Allied artillery blasts Nazi positions by night. Germans surrender by the thousands.
