Man Thinks Intimidating Police Can Get Him Out of Arrest

On October 20, 2021 in Florida, officers were on uniformed patrol, sitting stationary in their unmarked patrol vehicle facing the roadway when they observed a black Kia sedan run a steady red light. The driver's window was rolled down, providing them with a clear view of the male driver. Due to the speed of the vehicle, the officers had difficulty getting behind the Kia until it pulled into the parking lot of a Marathon Gas Station. The driver immediately exited the vehicle as the officers pulled up with their emergency lights activated. Despite verbals commands by the officers to return to this vehicle, the male entered the store. This is footage of the events that followed.
