Scope & Content: This film is an animated public service announcement narrated by Smokey Bear. Images of an empty, charred landscape are contrasted with those of a vibrant forest with animal life and people camping. Smokey cautions viewers to "think before you strike" and to "put the life out of your campfires before the campfires put the life out of the forest. " Produced by the USDA Forest Service and the Advertising Council.

Use Restriction: The use and reproduction of the Smokey Bear symbol is restricted by Public Law 82-359, as amended by P.L. 93-318, Title 18 U.S.C. 711, and 36 CFR 271.
