Among other things, people love to show off their pets. They are treated as stars, as cute toy creatures that give one joy, or even ugly, but ridiculously funny pets. Pets are, and this is a fact, one of the top-5 keyword searches on the Internet.

People say that, over time, dogs start to resemble their owners, both in looks and in behavior. Whether it’s the animals that start imitating their humans, or the humans start to identify themselves with their dogs, it doesn’t matter, there are hundreds of photos online where dog owners look almost exactly like their dogs, or, as you will see in the video above, with other animals that share some typically human characteristics. Watch!

This is why we decided to show you a video of this amazingly funny dog. Moxie is the lookout for any trouble at the beach... Meerkat style! Just look at how well the dog walks on its hind legs. It is a real treasure for its owners! If you like the video, do not forget to tell this amazing poodle to your friends! The dog deserves attention!

A characteristic posture that meerkat share with humans is to stand vertically on the hind legs with a straight back, folding the front legs on the abdomen and slightly resting on the tail. Meerkats move around on all four legs, but they are also able to stand on their hind legs. They do this mostly to protect themselves from danger. Despite its slight growth of 30 cm, standing on its hind legs, the meerkats see far away at the level of the horizon, looking out for any potential predators that may be hiding. In addition, the meerkats often climb to something high, such as a stone or bushes, to watch was even more convenient.

And this is Moxie, the little Apricot Poodle who successfully imitates both human and meerkat! The owner has taken Moxie to the beach, and, like a good “guardian dog” Moxie wants to check out the surroundings for any danger, but assumes a position of a meerkat! So adorable! He manages not only to walk but also climb the slope walking back straight only using the hind legs. Considering that all dogs go “on all fours”, it's amazing how Moxie pulls this off! This is walking on hind legs as it has been doing this all its life. This is exactly like the meerkat stands in a guard post. In this position, the hind paws keep the body weight of the mink, and the tail provides balance.

And this is not an isolated case. There are instances when dogs start to walk on their front paws, even though they have not been previously trained to perform this act. Look at this example of a dog who prefers to walk on front two legs! Amazing, right?
