The Truth About Generational Curses - Joy Cometh in the Morning

Generational curses are real but not for the born again Christian who has received the Holy Spirit. You received the Spirit when you first truly received Christ. This is different than Baptism if the Spirit but Spirit baptism is not required for salvation or indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Those who tell you that you must receive Holy Spirit baptism and that the only evidence of that is speaking in tongues are not speaking truth. This is as untrue as being told that you suffer from a generational curse or a demon possession. Those with the Holy Ghost do not suffer demon possession or curses of any kind. A generation of non-believers can suffer punishment because of defiance and hatred of God by an ancestor but salvation and righteousness are still possible for the God loving child. Each person is responsible for their own sins and likewise for their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Demons are real and will harass you and deceive you and try to incite you to sin just like Satan did to King David in 1Chronicles 21:1. However the born again Christian can expel those demons by calling on the name of Jesus. Satan does not bother sinners because he knows they are already destroying themselves. The righteous Christian who walks in surrender and obedience is a threat to Satan’s kingdom and will be targeted. But fear not for Jesus has conquered Satan and the Name of Jesus is a sure weapon against all evil, sickness, and sin.

Seattle is under a curse and is dying. We believe what Biblical prophecy says about the end time. We see Biblical prophecy unfolding today. Yet we who are saved should not live in fear for our Lord Jesus has conquered death. We must put on the whole Armor of God and walk not by flesh but by Spirit. We can withstand the enemy and he must flee. Satan will come against us as he becomes more desperate if he sees us as a threat but we have victory in Jesus and no weapon formed against us will prosper. As the times grows more dark we press in harder to Jesus and into hope of revival.
