UBISOFT Execs Say AAA Gaming is DEAD | Need 10 MILLION Sales to Be Profitable

Executives with Ubisoft have stated in a recent talk that the AAA gaming industry is in trouble with the current business model across the industry because no enough people are buying new video games.

The studio behind the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows, as well as recent bombs like XDefiant or Star Wars Outlaws, said triple A games need to sell approximately 10 million copies in order to make money. Unfortunately for them not many titles say that many in a given year which leads Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed boss into doubting AAA games can continue how things are. The solution should be to spend less on games, but that seems to be something they’re incapable of doing.
