Directed by Edgar Ulmer the same year he did the masterful Detour, this is another film noir that doesn't quite live up, but has some interesting sequences. It's a later film by the underrated Warren William, who is in the role of the villain. The story is about a teenager who doesn't trust his stepfather's intentions regarding his mother and his sister.
