he Indianapolis Star described the performance of DePauw University's football team as a "walloping," as the Tigers had no trouble putting away their rivals from Wabash College, 28-6. The triumph wrapped up DePauw's 1918 football season -- which was abbreviated by the influenza pandemic striking the nation -- with a 4-1 record, while the Little Giants fell to 1-3.
