There’s talk of great deception
Birth pangs of a new age
But that idiot in the mirror,
got a little too much to say

We got prophets and pundits
And pay-per-view sermons
24 hour helplines,
to exorcise the demons
Got podcasters and preachers,
the cast of Armageddon
The sunburnt in the bleachers,
for the end times entertainment

But who among them can teach us,
a prayer to end all fear?
Who among them can warn us,
of words we wish to hear?
Is there a prayer to end all prayers,
a perfect, final blessing?
Is there time yet, for anyone,
to contemplate confessing?

This trip is getting strange, born from above
