In this video of Colton Posey Fishing, Colton Posey breaks down a recent day on a Lake close to home that is mainly populated with Spotted Bass and Largemouth Bass. The main forage on this Lake is Threadfin Shad, Gizzard Shad and Crawfish, main cover is Grass, Laydowns, Stumps and Rock. Colton Posey and a childhood friend show up at the Lake featured in the video and notice right away their is not much cloud cover and no wind, at this point as a power fisherman Colton adjusts his bait selection from Hard moving baits to Soft Plastics in which returns lead to a found pattern within the first thirty minutes of arriving. The two main baits that caught Bass today was the Zoom Salty Super Fluke in white and crazy chrome, the second bait is a renowned favorite to many anglers the War Eagle Spinner Bait 3/8oz. with a Silver Colorado kicker and Gold Willow Blade. Both baits mimic shad very well especially with the Shad Spawn and Bream Spawn popping off right now, Colton found within the patterns he had established that Bass were close to or in a specific cover such as Grass and others were located close to the Grass but on sandy flats.
