Marine Corps pursues alternative energy on the battlefield

In March, Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. James Amos signed the Expeditionary Energy Strategy. It dictates that by 2025 the Marine Corps will use 50 percent less fuel on the battlefield as it does today. Staff Sgt. Jeremy Ross reports from Helmand province, Afghanistan, where the Marines' latest technologies are powering potentials on the front lines.
