Idea For "Wind-Deterrent" Flag

The past few weeks we had experienced plenty of extremely windy days and nights, which resulted in my American Flag and Trump/Vance banner taking some abuse. On several occasions, I had to pull both flags off the gutter and edge of the roof for the wind was harsh enough to blow them up there. This of course causing some fraying and tearing on both The American Flag and the Trump banner.

So I came up with a "wind-deterrent" idea, to prevent this from happening in the future. I picked up a few supplies from Wally World ( Walmart ):

4 Anchor Stakes - $2.68 each
2 Carabiners - $2.97 for two
Fishing Wire - $2.42 for a spool

I had already purchased the Grommet Kit from Harbor Freight for about $4.49.

I added grommets to the bottom corners of the American Flag and Trump banner. Hooked in the carabiners, then ran fishing wire from the carabiners to the ground stakes, to help keep the bottoms of each flag from moving around so much in extreme winds, keeping the off the roofs edge.

I'm sure I'm not the first one to come up with this idea, but so far its working really good.
