2 shot near Over-the-Rhine fire station believed to be father, son

One man died and another was hospitalized after a shooting in the city's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. The two victims are believed to be a father and son, police spokeswoman Tiffaney Hardy said: The deceased victim is 21 years old, while a man in his 40s was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Neither man's name has been released. The shooting happened at about 10:30 a.m. near McMicken Avenue and Vine Street. Hardy said it may have started as an altercation at Findlay Playground, on the same block. The victims showed up at a fire station on McMicken Avenue, looking for help.
