Ephesians 5:22-33 "Marital Advice" 11/10/2024

Paul wasn’t married either that we know of…but again…this isn’t mine or Paul’s advice.
In fact, it isn’t advice at all…the way you respond to each other in marriage is a command of the Holy Spirit.
And the command involves love and respect through submission.
Paul has spent some time in these chapters writing about who we are in Christ and the blessings we have in Him.
He wrote about how we are to walk…in response…to who we are in Christ.
We are to walk worthy, in love, in the Light, in wisdom, and in the Spirit.
Paul also writes that the secret to walking that way is being constantly filled with the Holy Spirit.
And evidence of that filling is that we have songs of praise in our hearts and on our lips.
He also writes that we are all part of the same team, team Jesus, and as such, we are to submit to one another, presenting a united front.
