This archival video comes from a series of moving images relating to a CBS documentary on treatment of prisoners of war from the Department of Defense, Department of the Army. The documentary focuses on US prisoners in North Vietnam and Viet Cong prisoners in South Vietnam. Reporters interviewed wives and families of American POWs.
