This vid I am trying to figure out how to transfer between maps in single player mode. What I've learned is transferring is not smooth. You upload your character and then shut the game down with task manager. This is the type of thing that made people angry at the ark devs. An indie overlooked complication that was never fixed you worm your way through to the answer. Basically, transferring between servers was part of the mmo experience and ran smoothly there.

So you shut the game down with the task manager once your character is inside the big teleporter boss fight tower thingy. Your character must be in it's undies. Put everything you own in the data tab. Using the dino plus mod I cryo'd my iguandon mount in a soul shard so he could keep his saddle on. If I did not have the dino plus mod I would have to put my dino in the obelisk for upload right before I put myself in. Using this mod is better less confusing.

If you watch my boring video you can see I almost accidentally put my stuff in the tribute tab. That tab is for items to do with boss fights also done at the obelisk teleporter. I don't boss fight so never bothering with that tab.

My screen recorder shut itself off when the game went off. Even tho I have desktop enabled in nvidia. Must be a new thing with nvidia screen recorder. So you don't see me window key out to task manager but I did. I shut the entire game down and relaunched. Deleted an old crystal isles map save from years ago so I would have a fresh map. Then went in to CI.

Game always throws you some random spot. Then you struggle in your fuit-a-looms to get back to the teleporter. I could have skipped this but I included everything. Because I'm not a fancy youtuber I show you raw footage nothing left out.

I have the dino plus mod which gives you a teleporter you can craft and set anywhere you want. No more going to the boss fight teleporter obelisk thingy. I think dino plus mod also lets you port with your clothes on??? Anyway I cannot build it yet because it requires more crystal than I can mine on TheIsland Map. Thus the need to go to Crystal Isles map. To mine crystal.

I speed all my videos up but that lessons their visual quality a bit maybe? Atm recording in 2160p 4k. Trying to match that 2160p in DaVinci editor but DaVinci Resolve is a complicated bloated editor. To learn it I had to watch this child youtuber genius explain to me, lol! Best editor in existance though if you can learn it is worth the effort. I have no idea why project setting in davinci produces no match with record settings. Beyond my understand atm. If I set nvdia at 2160 and davinci project at 2160 think there would be no problems but it's always asking me if I want to keep the original video setting or change them to project never figured out what that means?? But vid looks okay until I speed it up. Then Rumble here must not have all the codecs Youtube does because quality drops with sped up vid here. IDK???

I speed up vids because it reduces their size. Been doing this for long time to as a work around to your vid is to long. Also, I watch everything in x4 my brain works like that. Slowing anything down is painful to watch.
