Oscar Dela Hoya EXPOSES the Dark Truth About Boxing & the Fans Know it

In a recent episode of Clap Back Thursday. Oscar Dela Hoya laid out some painful truths in today's boxing. Oscar explained why boxing is in hibernation. He says fans know what the outcome of the fight is before the fighter's step into the ring.

He's talking about the top fighters who cherry-pick subpar opponents for big money. He drew a comparison to boxing's golden era in the 90s. Look how times have changed.

We had Mike Tyson, Chavez, Dela Hoya, Trinidad, Floyd, Holyfield, Whitaker, Roy Jones, James Toney, and many more great fighters. In today's time, the competition and big names are not there anymore.

Oscar spoke about the 90s fighters being warriors who fought everyone. Well, times have changed. The 70s, 80s & 90s created mega fights all the time. And fans were excited to watch.

Oscar spoke of how the Floyd made boxing boring in the 2000's. Dela Hoya position is this. Today's boxers opened up the door for Jake Paul, because the top fighters don't want to make big fight anymore.

They want the most money without taking the risk. But the risk is what makes the fans want to pay big money to see you. Today's boxing fans are not stupid. They rather watch a staged Jake Paul fight, before they watch a stage set-up boxing match.

This is the same thing we say all the time on this show. Boxing today isn't that good anymore. We rather watch the drama of boxing dads than these boring ass fights.
