Chief FOIA Officers Council Meeting - November 17, 2021

We are conducting this open meeting in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552(k)). The Director of the Office of Government Information Services (OGIS), National Archives and Records Administration, and the Director of the Office of Information Policy (OIP), U.S. Department of Justice, co-chair the Chief Freedom of Information Act Officers (CFO) Council.

The CFO Council develops recommendations for increasing compliance and efficiency and shares best practices and innovative approaches.

This meeting will provide an overview of the CFO Council for new Chief FOIA Officers. It will also feature updates from OIP, OGIS, and the CFO Council Committees.
