Poland's ELITE Special Forces Unit: JW GROM

J-W GROM, Poland's premier special forces unit, was established on July 13, 1990, in the wake of the fall of communism in Poland. Its formation was influenced by existing special forces from NATO countries, particularly the United States and the United Kingdom. Many of the initial instructors within JW GROM received training from these elite units, setting the foundation for the high standards and capabilities that GROM would become known for.
