Bridges

Here is a song about Oregon's beautiful coastal bridges. Thirteen of the bridges were engineered by man named Conde McCollough who merged architecture, engineering, art, courage, and perhaps a little magic. I'll tell you more later. Just some guy.

It is called "Bridges".

"Thirteen Bridges string of pearls, spider webs of concrete and steel
Engineer, artistic romance
form and function a delicate dance
form and function a delicate dance

Ancient Arches Gothic Spires
Drawbridge a Funeral Pyre
Bowstring of Rhythm and grace living in time and space
Bowstring of Rhythm and grace living in time and space

Love in the morning red skies at night
distant ships in the soft moonlight
raindrops and oceans fathomless sea
haunted by water and memories of me
haunted by water and memories of me

McCullough engineer a bridge between the now and here
Soaring Spans soaring mind
a bridge over water a bridge over time
a bridge over water a bridge across times

In the beginning
