William Mozingo Sentenced | Kidnapping & Brutal Assault of Female Victim • SENTENCES

A 34-year-old man who has kidnapped and assaulted multiple women across Ohio in the last 15 years will serve the next quarter-century in prison.

William Mozingo, 34, was sentenced Tuesday to 25 to 31½ years in prison for his most recent abduction in October 2023. He held 23-year-old Chloe Jones against her will in an Akron shed for four days and repeatedly struck her with a baseball bat before police rescued her.In her victim impact statement, Jones recalled being homeless and how Mozingo promised her shelter, but instead he tied her up and held her against her will. After kidnapping her, he poured gasoline on her, strangled her, threatened her on multiple occasions and yelled at her.
