Lamentations 3 "God is Our Only Hope" 10/30/2024

This is written by Jeremiah from his perspective, not only on his suffering but also that of those in Judah during Babylon's siege and conquest.
As a reminder, the Book of Lamentations is part of Hebrew poetry.
Chapters 1,2,4 are written in an acrostic form so the children can recite and remember this poem.
Each of those chapters has 22 verses corresponding to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
They must remember what disobedience and rebellion against God’s word leads to.
