Big Cat Keeps Beating On Box Flap Like A Drum

If we took a cat and transformed it into a human, we can say with utmost certainty that she will be good in one of two professions. She can definitely be a masseuse, because have you seen a cat give another cat a good, thorough knead?

Like, check out this kitty. Sitting in their kitty bed, the smaller one, presumably the baby of the bigger one, gives her mama a nice, thorough back rub. The other one is obviously enjoying the treatment, seeing how she blinks slowly and doesn’t move any other muscles. So young, yet already a professional masseuse!

Other cats could definitely be ninjas. Feline are inherently stealthy creatures, so naturally, they would make excellent ninjas. With the tiny little beansies that are the paw pads on their feet, cats are natural born predators, no matter how domesticated they are. It is in their blood! They can sneak up on pretty much anybody, even their own kin, right from the back, never able to sense them.

Now it seems we can add another profession to the portfolio of vocations cats can take - a drummer! Who would have thought that a cat can muster such a blast beat? They don’t even need some incredible drum set. Just find an empty box and give it to your feline friend. You just might get surprised!

These people certainly seem to have been surprised to see their chubby cat perform such an outstanding drum performance. Filmed in their home in Phoenix, Arizona, the chubby toyger can be seen keeping up a beat on the flaps of an empty Amazon box. We can see its paws go incredibly fast, with hawk-eye focus, while it slams that flap.

Travis Meowker? Mike Catnoy? Lars Pusslich? Name that feline however you want, it deserves to be on some talent show somewhere. Someone get this puss an agent!

The cat’s name is Babylove and we find out it’s actually a she, sorry about the name confusion. But Travis, Mike, and Lars would probably be more than honored to take this kitty under their wings, or drumsticks. Her bemused owner says their 20-pound cat loves to drum on delivery boxes and we are beyond glad they caught her in action. Apparently, Babylove’s mom has something of an Amazon addiction, so the cat has plenty of drums at her disposal at any given time.

“I’ll start to hear tapping noises and she’s there going at it! Drumming one day, even boxing, that’s how she stays in shape,” the owner says.

Ever since the clip saw the light on social media, people have been going nuts about Babylove. Someone even made the creative suggestion the owner should set up a kitty band. The comments on facebook though are pure comedy gold.

“Why do I feel that she is trying to imitate rocky balboa?” “She's just throwing a wobbler because Amazon sent a dog toy.” “Didn’t know Cat Stevens could play the drums.” How could we forget about the British multi-instrumentalist? He does play the guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, piano and something called Mellotron, which looks like a piano, but really isn’t. Maybe this is his alter ego?
