Today, I checked out Dan Vasc’s incredible metal cover of "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan. Before diving into the music, I reflected on life and past relationships. I also confessed to a nap that stretched from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours (oops!), but I’ve been very active today with workouts, so I guess I needed it!

The cover itself blew me away. While I don’t recall the original song perfectly, Dan’s version stood out as epic and powerful. It also brought back memories of the Mel Gibson movie The Man Without a Face. As a kid, I often dreamed of someone showing up to teach me how to be a man. Life had its lessons, with some people guiding me along the way—some I listened to, others I didn’t.
