2024 1101 Prophecy or Predictions What is it Gonna be?

When people speak on behalf of God, is it prophecy or are they only predicting, Is God the same yesterday today and forever? Are we in a new and better covenant or not? So why are prophets under the old covenant as we see in the Bible more accurate than we hear today?
