The overall temperature of the atmosphere and the temperature of a planet's surface are both determined by absorbed sunlight and surface air pressure. Evidence shows that recent climate changes occurred through changes in surface reflectivity, cloud cover, and solar output. These factors affected the amount of absorbed sunlight, and when they are taken into account, any supposed effect from carbon emissions vanishes.
