Disclaimer: To specify "Dilemma", looking at the video from here, it looks like an insinuation that Miles' crisis wasn't a "dilemma", it was. But not only was it just sprung up outta nowhere in the MIDDLE of a 2 hour movie, but the way the writers introduced it and handled in every scene to come after- was bad.

The (Kill one, Save the universe) discussion It was clearly a big-boi topic the writers weren't prepared to tackle PROPERLY without making Morales in the right without really really really thinking about what it means to say (FUCK THE REST OF THE UNIVERSE, IMMA SAVE MY DADDY), how that makes him look. As relatable as it is to want to save ya parent.

And the result is a sloppy, poorly handled mess. So even if you didn't notice what it meant, i'll clarify anyway that that statement isn't to downplay Miles' situation-

However compared to Gwen, who's dilemma isn't painted to pin her against the world, to make her the center of the universe where every Spider-person revolves around one guy or girl, like Miles.

Her issue of dealing with Parker's death is more natural, streel level, grounded, less grandiose (Universe scale) and less contrived & forced than Morales' Dad situation. Cause it begs the question, if they didn't say anything, WOULD that whole situation of him getting in the way, risking his universe: Have been avoided?

Cause think about it, if he was left alone like everyone else, it would've played out as it intended like everyone else. So why even risk him getting in the way by telling him....

But imma get into that eventually. Just wanna get my main praise of the movie out there first.

I recommend the Gwen portions of the movie, that's a better Spider-man movie trying to break out of the cluster fuck. So the first 20 min of the film, then (50 min mark) when she talks about her issues with her pops., & around (1:52:17) is her situation getting wrapped up. Another good scene.
