Awesome moment in American history here: this is the St Louis Arch under construction in the summer of 1964.

We all just take the world around us for granted, but this work of art (and so many others - or bit of architecture) wasn't always there for us to appreciate.

Thankfully we were able to preserve this moment of our collective past.
