The Extraordinary Journey of Khusi Khanal:

Khusi Khanal was born in October 2014 in Portugal. At just 10 years old, she is in the fourth grade and has already embarked on an incredible journey as a writer. As her father, I have had the immense joy of watching her grow and develop her extraordinary talent.
Early Beginnings
Khusi's journey began in 2021 when she was finishing preschool. Although she couldn't write at that time, she had an idea to make a book. She asked me to tell her stories, which she then wrote down in her own way. She created her first book on June 19, 2021, titled História da Mal Madrasta, followed by História dos Otoculantes on June 23, 2021, O Menino que Sempre Mentia on June 27, 2021, and A Lua Grande de A Estrela on July 4, 2021. After starting school on September 14, 2021, she momentarily forgot about her writing due to the new environment, friends, and teachers.
Passion for Poetry
Khusi's passion for writing came alive again in April 2023 when she was 8 years old. On April 13th, she wrote her first poem titled A poluição in Portuguese. From that day forward, she promised to write a poem every single day without missing a day. By July 16, 2023, her first book was ready for publication, and she began writing in English as well. Khusi dreams of becoming a world-famous poet and winning the Nobel Prize for Literature. She wants to make history for Portugal through her poetry. She has even shared her ambition to write live for a world record, telling us she can write around 200 poems in a single day if given titles.
Prolific Output and Published Works
In less than a year, from April 13, 2023, to March 30, 2024, Khusi wrote over 1,000 poems. To date, she has written more than 1,750 poems, including 1,200 in Portuguese and 550 in English. Her ability to write so many poems in such a short time is truly amazing. Khusi believes she can write around 200 poems in a single day if she dedicates an entire day to writing, and she hopes to write live for a whole day to showcase this ability.
Khusi's first books are part of a series called Os Poemas da Pequena Khusi, which includes Volumes I to XII in Portuguese. She also wrote three books in English titled The Poems of Small Khusi, Volumes I to III. All 15 books are published and available on her website, www.khusikhanal.com, and through KDP Amazon. Khusi's achievements are remarkable, especially considering her age. At just 10 years old, she can write poems anytime, anywhere, and on any topic she knows. From February 11 to 14, she wrote over 100 poems in just four days, spending a total of 5 hours and 30 minutes writing.

As a father, I am incredibly proud of Khusi's dedication, creativity, and talent. Her journey in poetry has been a source of great joy and inspiration.
