BLOODY BIRCH, Award Winning Artist's Impersonation in Acrylic

This is another one of the acrylic paintings. I am not sure that I like acrylic but I am going to keep trying. I think I need a different approach to what I am doing. With oil it just kind of has a flow for me that acrylic doesn't. I think it does it's just a different flow. I need to be a bit more deliberate with what I am doing. This one was at first didn't seem to be going anywhere the green to me was lost in the black. It does show up much better on camera. It did not really have a feel to it till I started adding the black lines at the end and the trunk of a Birch Tree jumped out at me and the red was like someone had bled on it. hence “Bloody Birch.” enjoy today's video.
