Euphrates - Breaking Out

The Euphrates river is referred to twice in the New Testament, both times in Revelation. In the first case it refers to an event that leads to the destruction of 1/3 of the population of the earth in a nuclear war. It turns out, this is God's plan to whip some sense into the people who remain - to show them their evil ways, so they will turn to him.
