Our TOPIC: LOVE – A TRIGGER FOR GODLY CHARACTER.

Today's SCRIPTURE: Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. ROMANS CHAPTER 13 verse 10. Hallelujah!

Our THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Godly character manifests in you when love is in place in your life.

Our anchor Scripture reveals that releasing the nature of love in you is fulfilling the Scripture.
That is, when you understand the walk of love, you don't need to memorize the law or remember the commandments one-by-one. This is because when you walk in love, you naturally keep the commandments.

A major implication of this is that love makes walking in godly character automatic. Godly character manifests in you when love is in place in your life. Your godly character and virtues are naturally released and expressed when you walk in love. When you walk in love, you release the fruit of the Spirit. You won't struggle to please God or live right if you walk in love.

On the contrary, when there is no love, there is character bankruptcy. All forms of evil behaviour in people manifest when there is no love (2nd Timothy 3 verse 1 to 5). Hallelujah!

2nd Timothy chapter 3 verse 3 reveals that in the last days, people shall be without natural affection.
And to be without natural affection is to be callous in nature.

Other Bible versions render the phrase “without natural affection” this way:
“They will be unloving and unforgiving…”
NLT
“[They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman)…”
AMP
“They will be unkind, merciless,…”
GNT
“Without natural love, bitter haters,…”
BBE
“…and lack normal affection for their families…”

Beloved, what is my counsel to you today?
Make up your mind to walk in love. Walk in love so you can release the godly character in you.
The grace to walk in love is released on you today, in Jesus Name. Amen!

Remember this: Godly character manifests in you when love is in place in your life.

Take this ASSIGNMENT with you:
#1. Refuse to be carried away by the loveless nature of this present age.

#2. Make up your mind to walk in love so you can effortlessly release the godly character and virtues in you. Yes sir!

Our PRAYER today: Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to walk in love, Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen!

TODAY'S BIBLE DAILY READING: FROM THE BOOK OF 1st Corinthians chapter 2 to 4.

We start with 1st Corinthians chapter 2, And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written:“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,Nor have entered into the heart of manThe things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? 1st Corinthians chapter 3, And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. 1st Corinthians chapter 4, Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God. Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other. For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now. I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you. For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church. Therefore I urge you, imitate me. Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness? Hallelujah!
